P&G's Antiperspirant Recall

If the recent P&G antiperspirant recall doesn’t make you want to switch to natural deodorant, I’m not sure what will. Earlier this December, the FDA announced that P&G voluntarily recalled certain deodorant products. They revealed that these antiperspirants contained Benzene. The FDA states, “Benzene is classified as a human carcinogen. Exposure to benzene can occur by inhalation, orally, and through the skin and it can result in cancers including leukemia and blood cancer of the bone marrow and blood disorders which can be life-threatening.”

This is why it is so important to understand what exactly you are putting into and onto your body. By making the switch to natural deodorant you are eliminating exposure to harmful chemicals and saving yourself from health issues down the road. Bai-li consists of 8 simple ingredients, which you can read about HERE.

We live in a culture where our natural bodily functions like sweating are advertised to be shameful. I find no shame in rejecting cancer causing chemicals! Let’s learn to embrace the sweat and switch to natural deodorant!
